Museu da Lourinhã

4 km away is the Lourinhã Museum, whose collection includes several relevant finds, namely of dinosaurs, some of which were new to science, the holotypes. The Museum is an unavoidable scientific reference, both nationally and internationally.

Dino Parque Lourinhã

Just 5 km away is the Dino Parque da Lourinhã, which, because this area is one of the most relevant in Portugal in terms of dinosaur finds, a theme park dedicated to the subject was built, constituting the largest open-air museum, where you can see more than 180 models of dinosaur species in real scale.

Within a radius of 15 km are some of the best beaches for surfing, such as Praia dos Supertubos in Peniche, where one of the World Surfing Championship competitions takes place, or Praia do Baleal. At 41 km, is the coast of Ericeira, with an extension of 8 km, the first surfing reserve in Europe and second in the world.

18 km away is Cape Carvoeiro, located at the western end of the Peniche peninsula, in an area of great scenic beauty due to the curious geological formations that the sea has sculpted over time, a sought-after place due to the spectacular images it provides. On the way, next to the road, you will find the Chapel of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios where you can observe its 17th century tile panels.

14 km away, at Peniche's Marina, you can embark towards Berlenga Island. In only 25 to 30 minutes, you will find yourself in the UNESCO Biosphere Natural Reserve, very rich in fauna and flora. There you can do several activities: visit the caves in a glass-bottomed boat, diving baptisms, snorkeling, hiking and visit the Fort of São João Batista. Camping is also allowed there.

35 km away is the city of Caldas da Rainha, an important cultural center, where great figures of Portuguese culture were born, such as the painter José Malhoa and the 19th century caricaturist Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro. The most obvious points of interest are: the Parque Termal, where the José Malhoa Museum is located and where you can follow the Bordaliana Route, the Bordalo Pinheiro factory store or pay a visit to the fruit market.

Bacalhôa Buddha Eden

23 km away, at Quinta dos Loridos, is the Bacalhôa Buddha Eden, which is the largest oriental garden in Europe. Within its 35 hectares are Buddhas, pagodas, terracotta statues, and about 600 hand-painted terracotta soldiers. There are more than 200 sculptures arranged under the shade of 1000 palm trees. In the central lake it is possible to observe KOI fish, and sculpted dragons.

The Praia Del Rey Golf & Beach Resort, one of the most stunning in Europe, set among pine trees and dunes, with spectacular views of the Atlantic. The Royal Óbidos Golf Course designed by Severiano Ballesteros, with a fantastic view over the Óbidos lagoon and the West Cliffs Golf Course, also has sea views.
